The effects are pretty basic stuff for flash8. The first effect is only one image being scaled and jumped from position to another. The texts are faded with basic convolutionfilter. In the second effect we made a mask and draw a bitmap behind that mask. The plasma on the bottom isn't behind that mask, but it can be seen through transparent spots in the image. Worm works by moving same movieclip forward in a drawn path. This clip is drawn to one of three bitmaps in every frame. These bitmaps are then rotated to make it feel like it is "moving". Jamming squirrel is the part where cheating can be seen very well, didn't have much time to do any good effects, and we had the rendering available so we decided to go with it. The disco floor is my favorite. The balls are jumping inside a box in the first disco floor part. The robot in second part contains around 240 faces and is all realtime. Didn't really have time to do it better. Tunnel in the end in it's basic form is code that will run on flash6 :) In this effect we added some bitmap where we draw the tunnel and then scale the bitmap up. And about the dinosaur in the end? Don't ask, it was stupid :D |
